The heating pipes did not return to normal in the afternoon as stated in the announcement. 

In the morning, several public workers worked for a long time without any success.

In the afternoon, the heating company sent 2 people over to look at the heating pipes. After the initial inspection the company’s workers suggested replacing the entire system, saying that it will take until tomorrow to finish replacing the pipes. Winter in the northern parts of China was freezing, and if you don’t have heating for half a day you’ll catch a cold, not to mention there’s also an evening self study class.

At first Hai Xiu felt that it sounded romantic, but after hearing the last sentence he immediately became embarrassed. He leaned away from Feng Fei and quickly lowered his head to read his book. Feng Fei didn’t let him go and poked him

“I’m asking you.”

Hai Xiu curled up towards the window but Feng Fei didn’t stop poking him.

The self-study teacher couldn’t continue turning a blind eye to their small movements and coughed heavily.

Feng Fei carelessly looked up and glanced at the teacher before continuing to poke Hai Xiu “Say it, say it.”

Self-Study Teacher “……”

Hai xiu was teased by Feng Fei until he was almost bursting with laughter, but he didn’t dare to laugh, and wrote a note before passing it to Feng Fei.

Feng Fei saw that Hai Haowei was unsatisfied about Hai Xiu.

Before Hai Haowei could fire a scathing remark Feng Fei said

Feng Fei paused for a second, and then smiled towards Hai Haowei “I heard from my younger brother that you’re a college professor right? With this type of job it’s better to have a good reputation doesn’t it? If I let your dean, colleagues, and students know you always pester your ex-wife…… that wouldn’t be good right?”

Hai Haowei immediately shut his mouth and his face changed colors multiple times before becoming a dark, angry red.
