âIâm here, DesharowâŠâ A low voice once again came from my pager, and it sounded like he was very closeâpractically within reach.
âAgares!â vFNkaO
Â
Hearing this response, I couldnât help but feel relieved. Being able to call my name meant that, right now, Agares wasnât under the influence of the alienation. Just as this thought flashed by, I suddenly felt something curl around my ankle, and at the same time, my body was being lifted up by a wave of invisible pressure. The rope on my body was clearly snapped off, but I was floating like there was no gravity pulling me down. I widened my eyes in shock. My surroundings felt like I was submerged into seawater, but I was instead sinking slowly amidst empty air; basically, defying the laws of gravity. Furthermore, there were fluorescent star-like objects as far as the eye could seeâgenuinely making it feel like I was in outer space.
My physical body appeared as though it was still situated in this world, but my senses were dragged into another dimension by Agares. Two completely different spaces crossed and overlapped over my body because of our interactionâ I was in the air, while Agares was in water. God, this was too unbelievable!
Bewildered, I relied on the sinking traction to approach the submarine, and just as I thought of finding an entrance so that I could go in and investigate, I suddenly spotted that somewhere further away, in a hidden spot, there were probably around ten vague terrifying shadows drifting around. The long spider-like legs spread out wide, right in front of me, intertwining together to form a creepy green glowing net that consumes humans. 9PhjId
In no time, fear rushed into my body like a stream of water and I froze in place. From seeing the still movement of the shadow, it seemed like they had yet to notice me. I turned back cautiously, taking off the remains of the hindering radiation protective gear, but then from my peripheral sight, I caught a glimpse of something boring out of the submarineâs surface behind meââa deathly pale webbed claw silently rested on my shoulder.
I conditionally let out a frightened cry, but my body was in an instant dragged through the surface of the submarine and landed into a dry and dim environment. Several ragged clothed human skeletal remains piled disorderly in the surroundings. Petrified, I stumbled back a few steps and bumped into something. Then a pair of strong arms gathered me into a warm hug and rough long fishtail rolled around my body from behind.
âDonât be afraid, Desharow. Itâs me.â

It was Agares, he temporarily gained back his sanity. I took a few hurried breaths, blanking out for several seconds due to the sudden turn of events, before a huge wave of clammy emotions rushed up my heart, making me turn to Agares and hug him. At long last, I could finally see Agares in the flesh, compared to his appearance the day before. It looked like the dark matter had infected him even more, and that even a few odd black veins had crawled up his cheeks, just like those indigenous tribes who wore these sort of tattoos with the implication of an incantation, making him appear more sinister. However, hidden behind those deep and serene eyes was a profound love, convincing me that my lord chief would not hurt me.
Â
âHey. Just nowâŠâ I caressed his cheek dearly, thinking back to what just happened. I touched my pocket, sighing in relief. The swiss knife string was intact. I held it in my hand and squeezed it, âIt was your scale that protected me?â

Agares nodded and gently placed his webbed claw on my helmet. Without any restriction, it passed through the glass and touched my cheek, his wet hand tenderly lifting my chin so that I could look into his intimidating pupils, and slowly said verse by verse, âItâs a part that the dark matter canât corrode. You have to keep it safe, Desharow. I will take you to the entrance of the channel. However it appears that a crack had appeared, meaning that you could possibly fall into any of the time and space that I had once existed in. Remember, when you meet 'me', give it to 'me.'â It records all my life information, including your appearance⊠The passageway is right over there.â
He looked up and pointed behind me. I immediately turned around, he was pointing to the screen in the submarineâs cockpit. Behind the huge thick glass window, I could see a hole emitting a faint light within the darkness, but around it were scattered countless of âspider Mermaidsâ.
I couldnât help but shiver, âWhat, Agares? You want me to go inside that hole alone? Why couldnât you go with me together?â
âThe dark matter has eroded too much⊠Even if I can return to Atlantis, the âmother nestâ will be contaminated by me, and it will also destroy not only you, but also my barely surviving people.â Agares lowered his eyelids, took my arm, and lowered his head to kiss the hand that was holding his scale. His eyelashes brushed past my knuckles, making my heart throb and my nose sour. sKglkb
I couldnât imagine how much Agares had to suffer during the time spent in the channel, to the extent that the dark matter had almost completely damaged his strong body, making him unable to regulate himself and having no other choice but to go through the painful mutations over and over again. Yet under such a dire situation, he still wanted to look for me and protect me. I have to do something for him, no matter how odd the issues would sound like, nor how difficult itâll be. It was just that I couldnât bear to separate from him again. Who would know how quickly Iâll be able to meet with Agares again when I enter the time and space dimension, and furthermore to let him know who I am? Who would know what would happen in another unknown time and space?
âYouâll definitely be able to do it, my Desharow.â Just as I stared at the channelâs entrance, feeling uneasy, Agares embraced my waist. His fishtail wrapped me closer to his body, and his lips rested by my ear, whispering with confidence in a low voice.âŠ
Chrysanthemum Garden.
I tightly hugged his neck, staring into his eyes with determination, nodding. In a form of encouragement, he lowered his head and licked my cheek, but the close contact with his body made us both aware of the hole he tore on my wetsuit.
Agaresâs eyes darkened, unable to look away at the exposed skin, like he was a starved, crazy person catching sight of delicious food. I swore that his eyes appeared green at that moment. The tips of my ears burned, whispering to his ears huskily, âHey, before I leave, you ought to take responsibility and heal the place you injuredâŠâ Qnh0IY
I bit on the wing of his of his ear, holding it in my mouth like tasting a piece of sashimi, Agaresâs webbed claws suddenly tightened around my back, his heavy body turned my body over, pressing me into the submarine wall, revealing his fangs threateningly, âIf I am completely healthy, I would eat you up in one bite, not leaving a single bone behind, DesharowâŠâŠYou have no idea how much I miss your tasteâŠâ His nose slowly came in touch with my forehead. The shadow of his hair obstructed my sight like a big dark cloud.
I felt his tongue penetrate through my mask, and it traveled from my forehead to licking my eyebrows and to my lips. I opened my mouth slightly, allowing him to penetrate through my lips and teeth to kiss me deeply. His tongue chased mine, waging war with my lips and teeth, kissing passionately.
Agaresâs strong scent permeated into my heart and lungs, and I tried harder to absorb the bitter sweet taste of this kiss, but it was always far from enough. My hands eagerly touched the mountain-like muscles that were dilating on his broad back, however he firmly pressed my hand onto the wall all at once, and interlocking his own fingers with mine.
An agitated force suddenly rushed out from my body, followed by sharp nails boring out of my fingernails, and pointy fangs growing out in my mouth. They all cut into Agaresâs skin and flesh, yet it only stimulated him to lower his head and gnaw heavily on my Adamâs apple and collarbone, not forgetting about my red and swollen wound at the same time. His fishtail squeezed between my legs and his thick solid thing grind up and down against my own, intertwining out fish spears. txjZmD
It was supposed  to be a fleeting intimacy but I felt very happy, and soon reached a release with a tremble in his gentle yet wild comfort.

In case any of you got confused about the overlapping space dimension thing: Basically Agares and Desharow were in two different space. When the two space overlap each other, Desharowâs physical body was still in the bottomless hole he had entered, but he could feel Agares and the tentacles but couldnât see him. (In my head I understand it, but when it comes to explaining it comes out weird. Sorry!)
(What i commented for another reader. SKIP if you want): Desharow was already in the submarine. The passageway is outside the submarine: âHe looked up and pointed behind me. I immediately turned around, he was pointing to the screen in the submarineâs cockpit. Behind the huge thick glass window, I could see a hole emitting a faint light within the darkness, but around it were scattered countless of âspider Mermaidsâ Onme0
I didnât bold the text, so I donât know if you saw my TN on it. But Desharow is not meeting a different Agares(wellâŠkinda i guess) nor is he going to a different world. He is to give the scale to the past Agares, the Agares that existed during that time and space. The passageway can be equal to TIME- TRAVELING. Does that make sense?
In this chapter, it mentioned the usage of the scale. So far there are three things about the scale that was mentioned. 1. It canât be contaminated by the dark matter. 2. It can protect desharow. 3. It records all of Agares information, including Desharowâs appearanceâŠ
I donât want to spoil too much, but just think for yourself: Why does Desharow need to bring a scale that contains all the current info to the Agares in the past?
I hope this had help? Fi0urU
