ăăRhineâs urgent cry along with door pounding had sounded outside. Apart from that, I also heard the clamoring noises of several people mixed in with chaotic footsteps on the deck. It was like the surroundings had restored back to its original state as though the entire ship had broken away from a world of deathly stillness.
ăăLeaning against the wall with staggering footings, a feeling of powerlessness shot up from the soles of my feet, and I slid to the ground. The walls were as pristine as ever, but the ground was completely wet with a remnant of black liquid mixed in, which was enough evidence to prove that Agares had shown up here. He had indeed appeared before me by tearing a rift in space-time to attack me. However, I also donât know why he suddenly departed so quietly. Perhaps the appearance of my near demise had stimulated him to regain his original self? htXdrQ
ăAgaresâŠ..
ăăI felt for the bleeding wound around my neck as I murmured to myself. Placing my head against the wall, I knocked it heavily a couple times against it to relieve some of my heartache. My eyes drifted away from the light leaking from the open sky roof to where Yukimuraâs body laid. His eyes are still slightly open, but the black pearl-like pupils had already lost their lustering glow of life, frozen upwards the skylight as though they were expecting to penetrate through the glass window and to reach somewhere. I thought that maybe I ought to bring Yukimura out of this small cabin that was imprisoning him and return him back to the sea. This may have also been Asuraâs last obsession.Â
ăThinking this, I propped myself up, half knelt beside Yukimura, and lifted him up. His body was incredibly light, just like a dehydrated dried corpse and so lifting him was effortless. It was perhaps because the weight of life had left his shell, leaving it empty. I carefully held him up, and following my footstep, his graceful blue fishtail trailed powerlessly along the side. The water dripping from his body was like tears wetting my ankle.Â
ăAs I held onto Yukimura, I twisted open the doorâs lock, and the cabinâs exit opened loudly in front of me. Rays of light expanded, filling the gaps inside and inclined over our body. The light changed into a sheet of white rays in my line of sight, causing me to feel slightly dizzy. Next, before I could even get a good scope of everything in front of me, my body was suddenly grabbed and pushed aside roughly. The moment my back hit the bulkhead of the ship, an elderly aged voice hissed out. âSonâŠmy son!â sy6Ujt
ăăThe second my vision cleared up, I couldnât help but be completely shocked. The man that knelt down trembling in front of me, holding Yukimuraâs dead body, was none other than the same Shinichi who had completely deceived me with his death. There were no expressions on his stiff and fake appearance, yet there were a couple transparent teardrops that poured out of his turbid eyes. However, if they could be called tears, then that ought to be the most ridiculous joke in the world. I couldnât help myself from actually laughing out loud. However, my heart was filled with bewilderment, anger, and a deep sadness for Yukimura. âHeâs your son Mr.Shinichi? Yukimura is actually your son?!âÂ
ăăShinichi didnât answer me, he merely gave a glance towards the surrounding armed men and spat out lowly like he was saying a curse, âGo kill him!âÂ
âBut my son⊠Heâs dead. He was killed by Desharow!â aM20bQ
ăShinichi raised his alien face and stared directly at me with red eyes flashing in hatred. I stared back coldly in return, implicating mockery towards this lamentable and ugly lunatic by taking a deep breath and spitting out word by word, âYukimuraâs death was an accident but I am indeed partially responsible for it. I will not run away, but Mr.Shinichi, please let your pitiful son die with meaning by returning him back to the seaâhis body no longer has any value to you anymore, isnât that right?â Â
ăăâWhat do you know?!â As though my words had stabbed him, Shinichiâs expression suddenly changed, âThis was my sonâs fate. Since birth, he was destined to die for his family clanâs sacred mission. He brought to us the Sea Godâs present, the merfolk species secret, which can achieve the greatest contribution to the survival of the fittest in the whole humanity race! He was born for glory, and dies for gloryâŠ..âÂ
ăHe was a lunatic. An incurable lunatic that was living in a fascism fanasy.ă
ăăI leaned against the bulkhead, with nothing more to say. Just for this kind of so-called honor and glory, a personâs fate was distorted⊠However, I have no position to criticize and could not do anything to remedy this tragedy, because the protagonist of this tragedy had already died. Furthermore, he was mistakenly killed by Agares. 2YPw07
ăăI donât have any right to make a conclusion about his ending. Despite dying this way, compared to being forcefully imprisoned or possibly meeting his Asura who was now a complete devil, to Yukimura, this might have been the greatest mercy he couldâve gotten.Â
ăăâGo have him buried at sea, Dr. Bingye.âÂ
ăAt this moment, Rhine suddenly spoke. I was stumped for words, thinking that this guy might have finally found his conscience, but only to see that he was looking at the stern of the ship. It turned out that there was a huge black whirlpool that appeared who knows when in the sea. It was moving in the same navigation with the ship, as if it was conscious. That may just be Asura, who was waiting for his lover.Â
ăWith that, Rhine quickly walked to Shinichi with no emotional feelings on his stern face. Like a well-trained machine, he lifted up Yukimuraâs body and threw it towards several armed men. They walked directly to the side of the ship the second they carried him. It was obvious that they intended to throw Yukimura overboard just like this as if he was not a real living being, nor a soul that had painfully passed away. Rather it was like discarding a pile of useless rubbish. wGtUWf
ăăAnd this was the so-called sea burial that came out of Rhineâs mouth.Â
ăăHowever, what amazed me most was that in the face of his sonâs undignified death and funeral, Shinichi, being a father, just knelt on the deck with his head down and motionless, acting like a coward who couldnât confront his own mistake.

ăăThe cold raindrops stabbed into my body as if they were hail. My hands clenched into a fists. An indescribable feeling of pain and discomfort rushed into my heart, which drove me to block the peopleâs path who were going to toss Yukimura into the sea, and then I said in a low voice, âWait. Please wait a minute.â
Those men stopped and looked at me in confusion. I quickly took off my outer clothing and carefully covered Yukimura with it. I tried to remember the eulogy spoken at a traditional Russian funeral as I lightly drew a holy cross upon his head. I was not a Christian and also would not know if this is gonna put Yukimuraâs soul to rest and ascend to the so-called heaven kingdom, but this was the only thing I could do for him. MWej24
ăăâUse the kayakâŠ.âÂ
ăăShinichi, who had been silent for so long, finally stood up with staggering steps and had let out a deep sigh. Even until the moment when Yukimura was placed onto a small kayak, was set off onto the sea water and the rope was released for the small boat to float away, he had not once turned back to look, and instead directly entered one of the shipâs cabins. Â
Soon, I saw the kayak that was carrying Yukimuraâs corpse drifting far out of the strait. The black whirlpool was also pursuing vigorously after it. In a blink of the eye, the kayak had entirely disappeared from the surface.
A long, low sound came from nowhere and resonated over the entire sea. The voice sounded as though it was at the peak of extreme grief and mourning, causing me to absent-mindly stay by the shipâs railing for a long time to the point where I barely realized how dark the outside was becoming. jW54k2
ăâOh Desharow, my little hero, whatâs on your mind?âÂ
ăăRhineâs voice rang behind me. My shoulder was then grasped, and from behind, I was pulled into a sudden embrace by him.
I was horrified and immediately tried to break away from his arms, but the excessive blood loss and pain from the wounds reduced my strength. The more I struggled, the tighter his hold on me got. My body was being entirely pressed against his chest and my chin was even more restrained by his hand. A hot breath approached from one side of my ear, âIf youâre smart enough, then you should know to stay by my side. I canât guarantee whether Bingye might send someone to secretly kill you at night or not. Donât you still want to go down into that sea cave? I will bring you there, but you need to tell me your motives.âÂ
ăăI avoided his palm in disgust and tried force myself backward, but then his knee pressed itself between my legs. This rendered my entire body to fall against the side of the ship with half of my body suspended in the air, over the seawater. It all depended on this one support, the one hand that had grabbed the waist of my trouser, to determine the fall of my tottering body into the water at any time. RY7oMA
How could I let Rhine know that the reason I wanted to go there was for Agares?
I clung to the side of the ship and turned my head, replying coldly with penetrating sharp eyes. âMoney. I want money. Arenât you curious about why I suddenly showed up here? Well, Iâve been working under Kolov and have been living under his commission. According to regulation, I have to participate in your trading activities to get a share of the profits as a participant.âÂ
ăăâOh? Is that so? But you donât seem to be much of a money grubber, my little scholar.â Rhine questioned, faking his suspicions. His hand slid down my neck, and I felt a cold sensation covering the wound on the side of my neck. The smell of alcohol infiltrated my nose, and I then felt a burning pain. IÂ hissed painfully before my body was let down by him. I didnât know whether he believed what I said, but right now, butting heads with a pervert like him was not the most sensible choice at the moment. At least, temporarily admitting defeat will allow me to stay alive and healthy.
ăHence, I bit the bullet and reluctantly forced myself to soften my tone, âItâs all thanks to you, Rhine. I now have no nationality, no home, and no money. How can I survive?â G0cXLw
ăăâAh what a pity. In these past two years you surely suffered a lot of faults, havenât you? If youâre willing to go to Germany with me, Desharow, I promise you that youâll live happily. â Rhine insincerely let out a sorrowful sigh, and his hands on me tightened even more. His lips rubbed lightly on my nape, however, I could only feel my stomach churning uncomfortably at his oppression, causing me to nearly vomit. Â
The surface of the sea showed the shaking reflection of Rhine and I, however, my train of thoughts seemed to all of a sudden penetrate into the deep sea water and arrive at where Agares was. Could he see this entire image? Will he immediately appear here? In the form of that mutated evil darkness?Â
ăâThatâs enough, Rhine.â I said angrily, at the end of my patience. âLet go of me. If you donât want to invite trouble, then you better not act so intimately with me. Iâm sure you donât want those dark and terrible creatures to come back to this ship, right? â
ăăâWhat do you mean?â Rhine let out a light and unconcerned laugh and had pulled me to turn around. Caught off guard, my back was now being pressed atop the shipâs railing. Through those two pairs of glass-blue eyes, an ambiguous light was uncovered, âCould it be that youâre targeted by those demon creatures like Yukimura? I donât believe it at all, DesharowâŠ.. â sxWtVe
He lowly stated as he approached closer. His smoke and alcohol filled breath exhaled from his mouth and onto my face, âI want to tell you that last night the appearance of you pointing the gun at me was so incredibly hot⊠I donât just want to hug you, I also want to fuck you right here right now, what do you think about that?âÂ
Wow what a plot twist! I bet you guys didnât see that one coming!

For a refresher on who Mr. Shinichi was, he was introduced in Chapter one, (go back to reread if you want to) and was also mentioned that he had passed away in that chapter. However in arc 3, apparently Desharow found out that Shinichi was alive and was actually evil.
And yes, Bingye and Shinichi are the same person. Before his faked death, he was known as Shinichi. And of course since he faked everything, he had to undergo multiple surgeries and need to change his name. However I donât know which one was his real name Ujpnf3
