‘What?!’
Bi Makhun was shocked, as he turned toward Chun Yeowun and thought about what just happened. He actually had concerns when he made the contract, as it didn’t seem like it would work at all. But he considered Chun Yeowun would have some tricks to pull this off anyway.
‘This is not an offer… it’s a…’
It was almost a threat. Bi Makhun knew how powerful the man Chun Yeowun is, so he knew that what Chun Yeowun was saying wasn’t a bluff. But these officials of the city did not know this.

Their faces all became frustrated as expected. Jehyun, a ordinary politician, could not speak against Chun Yeowun because of the pressuring aura, but So Yanghyun, the Head of the Security Department and third in rank of the Jenam City was different. So Yanghyun jumped up from his chair and shouted angrily.
“Kill them?! Are you threatening the Mayor of Jenam City? Even if what you just say is to prove your own power, but don’t think we will just laugh off such dangerous words such as killing Yulinians and Gatekeepers! You should watch what you are saying!”
He was the leader of the military force, so he was bold enough to speak against. The atmosphere immediately became tense. A peaceful negotiation was no longer possible.
‘By the heavens! They ignore the Yulin Registration law with some bribery because they’re scared of other Yulinians, and now come off to claim such thing?’
So Yanghyun shook his head. He was surprised by the man’s pressure but it was still too much to believe. So Yanghyun wished he would take back his claim with such warning for their relationship at least.
“You seem to believe that I don’t have power to do that.”
But Chun Yeowun was far from being done.

Bi Makhun was going crazy inside. If Chun Yeowun truly proceeds on what he was planning to do, the company’s relationship with Jenam City was going to crash. As such, Bi Makhun couldn’t understand why Chun Yeowun was doing such thing when he clearly knows that.

So Yanghyun’s face grew furious at once.
“You are young, but you are a Vice President, so I did not expect you to be so foolish. Go back to your company. I will meet with your President in near future. We will speak no further.”
“You have not signed on the contract yet.”
“YOU!”
So Yanghyun bursted out loud at Chun Yeowun’s words, then shouted toward outside of the room.
“Hey! Bring in guards and take these men…”
That’s when the Vice Mayor Mi Chuk spoke.
“Wait a minute.”
“Vice Mayor?”
So Yanghyun became confused but Mi Chuk spoke softly.
“Relax, Commander So. We have Gate Warning coming soon. We shouldn’t quarrel with Yongchun Group when we need every hands on deck, shouldn’t we?”
What he said was true. Entire Jenam City was on alert because of the expected Gate Warning grade this time around was B Grade or higher. The Wall had been breached by B grade or higher grade multiple times in the past. As such, Yongchun Group, who stayed within the walls to defend the city was vital to defense of the city.
“But…”
“Calm down. I’ll have word with him.”
“Hrm…”
So Yanghyun closed his mouth and sat down at Mi Chuk’s words.
‘Vice Mayor Mi Chuk…’
Bi Makhun turned to look at the Vice Mayor. Yongchun Group had been keeping in close contact with many important figures of the Jenam City from the past, but only one they couldn’t get close was this man. Mi Chuk had been elected three times as a Vice Mayor, and was highly influential within the city. Mi Chuk turned to Chun Yeowun and spoke.
“You sure have energy fitting your age. Massacre all Yulinians and Gatekeepers within the city, eh?”
“You think I am joking?”
Chun Yeowun’s voice began growing cold. Mi Chuk then became serious and continued.
“I guess you have a reason of claiming such thing. Can I hear what you are planning then? You are feeding us with hollow words. Please tells us what you are planning to protect our Jenam City.”
The question was quite direct. He was asking what Chun Yeowun was going to do after that. Jehyun, and So Yanghyun also nodded at Mi Chuk’s wise question and turned to Chun Yeowun. But answer to that was very simple.
“I am the answer to your question.”
“Pardon?”
Mi Chuk frowned at an answer that he had never even expected. He was wishing to hear a hidden forces or weapons within Yongchun Group, so this wasn’t even on his slightest mind.
“What nonsense are you trying to…”
So Yanghyun tried to burst out in fury, but Mi Chuk raised his hand to make him stop. He then became more serious and asked.
“Can I ask, what do you mean by that?”
