Just then, Sieli Dirk heard screeching brakes outside. It seemed that a lot of cars were parked outside the restaurant.
He furrowed his brows tightly.
They were so fast. It’d been less than two minutes. Quite a lot of people had arrived too. Sieli didn’t know why they’d come for him.
Just then, a large group of men in black walked in. They gestured at the servers, who started asking the other customers to leave.
The group glanced at Sieli’s group. They were all very nervous. One of the guys even put his hand into his pocket and Sieli freaked out.
“Are you crazy? Take your hand out. Don’t do anything stupid.”
A man in black walked over to them. “Take your guns out
 I said, everyone, take your guns out.”
“Take them out,” Sieli hurriedly said to his men. He put his own on the table and the man in black took it.
A while later, two more men came out. When Kanter saw one of them, he lowered his head and hid behind one of Sieli’s men. He was scared he’d be recognized.
When Sieli saw them, he quickly stood up.
“Hello, Mr. Manus.”
Manus glanced at him and said, “This is my boss’ friend, Mr. Chen.”
Sieli knew that Manus had very powerful channels. He could get practically any type of weapons, but no one knew about his background. Hearing that even Manus had a boss, Sieli’s blood chilled even more.
“Hello, Mr. Chen.”
“Yesterday, when my boss and Mr. Chen were together, someone shot at them. I investigated and learned that they’re your men. Of course, you don’t have to look for them anymore, because they’re already sunk in the sea now. Shouldn’t you give me an explanation?”
Sieli almost knelt down in fear. His men had injured Manus’ boss? This was like the end of the world to him.

” He pointed at Kanter who was hiding in the group behind him. “It’s him. He hired my men. I didn’t know anything about this.”
Kanter’s legs turned into jelly from fear. Chen Zhao looked toward him. “Kanter, we meet again.”
Kanter fell to the ground. He didn’t have the strength to stand up anymore. Who would’ve thought that this Asian was so terrifying?

 It’s my fault. I admit it. I hated you, so I got some men to beat you up, but I definitely didn’t want you to be killed

“Mr. Chen, how do you think we should punish him?”
“Make him need to be in a wheelchair for three months.”
Chen Zhao didn’t want Kanter to be killed. After all, the man only wanted to beat him up. They had a grudge, but it wasn’t enough for death.
“Sieli Dirk, what about you?”
“Manus, I will do anything I can to follow your orders. I really didn’t know about this. I have nothing against you or your boss.”
“I don’t care if you have anything against me or my boss for now. But your men threatened Mr. Chen’s safety. Don’t you think you should compensate him?”

“I’ll take the money,” Chen Zhao said. “But I hope similar things won’t happen in the future.”
“Of course. I can’t promise anything about other streets, but you can rest assured in my streets.”
“Mr. Chen, what do you think?” Manus asked.
“This is fine.”
Risfar had just gotten Manus today to give him a strong presence. Chen Zhao wouldn’t actually kill all the guys in the gang. They didn’t have any conflicts. Chen Zhao couldn’t bring himself to do it either.
Leaving the restaurant, Chen Zhao stuffed the check into Manus’ hands. “Manus, help me donate this to an institution for the disabled.”
“Mr. Chen, anything else?”
“No. Thank you, Manus.”
“No problem. It was boss’ orders.”


As soon as Chen Zhao parked outside of Ethan’s motel, he had already run out.

” Ethan’s voice didn’t match his age. “Chen, where did you get this?”

“Stole it.” Chen Zhao rolled his eyes.
Just then, Princess came down.

“Her name is Princess. Those two behind her are her kids.”
Ethan was speechless. “She’s huge.”
Princess’ intelligence assured Ethan. He cared more about the RV. “Chen, lend me the car and I can definitely get a young woman every day.”
“F*ck off. I’ll never lend this car or let you mess around in it.”
“Then don’t think about getting free food here anymore.”
Chen Zhao slammed a check down on the counter. “This enough?”
Ethan picked it up. “One hundred thousand dollars?”
“I took care of the troublesome client from last time.”

Just then, Li Qing walked over. “Auntie Li, you don’t look too well today.”
“Li, do you feel unwell? Should I give you two days’ break so you can rest?” Ethan also saw that Li Qing was in a bad state. She had dark circles.
“I’m okay. I probably didn’t sleep well.” Li Qing smiled.
“Auntie Li, sit down. I’ll give you a checkup.”

Chen Zhao pulled Li Qing over and checked her pulse. “Did you not eat breakfast?”

Chen Zhao furrowed his brows. Earlier, he’d only thought that Li Qing didn’t sleep well, but it seemed to affect her appetite too. Chen Zhao took out a stethoscope. Her heartbeat wasn’t steady. Her internal functions seemed to be disrupted too.
“Auntie Li, drink this.”
“Is this medicine? I’m not sick.”
