Their eyes met, and the man’s pupils suddenly contracted, freezing his body in place.
Jun Ye felt extremely awkward.
God knows he was just lying in bed asleep, and now he woke up in a spiritual state, only to bump into Little Recluse taking a bath.
Jun Ye’s gaze quickly scanned Little Recluse’s body, then landed on the white lab coat piled in the laundry basket nearby. His brain raced, trying to come up with a somewhat reasonable explanation.
But Little Recluse turned his head back, continuing his earlier actions as if the other entity didn’t exist.

Ignored by Little Recluse, Jun Ye: “…”
Should he continue to observe or quietly leave?
The water temperature seemed too high, and Jun Ye noticed that Little Recluse’s cheeks and ears were flushed from the steam.
The redness was spreading downward, as the hot water hit the raised chest, scalding the two robust muscles from the center to the sides.

The water flowed down the contours, infiltrating the “Jun Yegle” below and soaking the vegetation thoroughly.
Gradually, the land beneath the Jun Yegle began to rise.
…
Jun Ye exited the bathroom door without glancing sideways. As someone who valued propriety and dignity, “no trespassing” had always been one of his life principles.
It was still the familiar living room. Jun Ye crossed the glass sliding door and stepped onto the balcony.

A gust of wind blew, followed by another, but not even a strand of Jun Ye’s hair was lifted.
Jun Ye patted his cheeks, relieved that his spiritual body didn’t have physiological reactions after pheromone secretion.
Hoo—
With a slightly strange sound of breaking air, a completely black, long-tailed bird landed on the metal railing of the balcony, its two blood-red eyes fixed on Jun Ye.
Jun Ye looked at the black bird in surprise, feeling momentarily dazed.

This bird gave him a strange feeling, somewhat familiar…
The black bird flapped its wings, its claws gripping the railing as its body leaned forward. Meanwhile, its long tail behind gradually rose, the spread tail feathers facing Jun Ye.
Jun Ye stood frozen in place, astonished.
When birds display their feathers, especially their tail feathers, what does it signify?
It couldn’t be what he was thinking, could it?

Whoosh—
The sliding door was suddenly pulled open, and a muscular man, wearing only a towel around his waist, strode out.
The black bird’s feathers bristled all over as it flapped its wings, screeching loudly at the man, its voice sharp and piercing.
The man stepped past Jun Ye and grabbed the bird’s wing, flinging it away.
Faintly, the sound of breaking air could still be heard.
The black bird seemed to have been thrown into the bushes downstairs. Jun Ye walked forward and leaned against the railing, looking down, but the black bird’s figure was no longer visible.
Jun Ye sneakily glanced at the stoic Little Recluse beside him, inwardly taking a sharp breath.
The black bird was just hopping around on the railing of Little Recluse’s balcony, yet it was violently expelled like this. After all, he had intruded into the other’s home twice, one time even directly into the bathroom, where Jun Ye saw the other’s entire body…
Could he end up sliced by the other too?
Little Recluse turned around, his pitch-black eyes locking onto Jun Ye’s.
Jun Ye fearlessly returned the gaze.
As a spiritual body now, if there was any slicing to be done, it would be the one lying in the hospital bed.
For a minute, the two locked eyes.
After two minutes, Little Recluse lowered his gaze while Jun Ye lifted his chin triumphantly.
And then, after three minutes, Little Recluse took a step forward, causing Jun Ye to stiffen and glare defiantly.
After four minutes, a large black bird shot up from below, aiming straight for Little Recluse’s face.
Little Recluse raised his hand to grab the bird by the neck, casting a deep look at Jun Ye before turning around and heading back inside with the struggling bird in hand.
Jun Ye stood hesitantly in place, unsure whether to follow.
Would Little Recluse stew the black bird?
What would he do to Jun Ye if the black bird hadn’t flown out?
Jun Ye glanced at the unfamiliar buildings outside and then back at the glass sliding door leading to the single-person apartment, ultimately deciding to walk in from where the door was left open.
He thought, this wouldn’t count as illegal entry, right? After all, you left the door for me.
Inside, Little Recluse sat on one side of the living room’s only couch, while the black bird hopped on the backrest, flapping its wings vigorously.
As soon as Jun Ye entered, he saw the black bird fiercely flapping its wings and pecking at Little Recluse’s head, while Little Recluse remained grim-faced, allowing the bird to attack.
Jun Ye: “…”
So, you guys are actually quite familiar with each other?
No wonder the black bird felt so familiar to him. It seemed like what kind of owner raised what kind of pet.
Wait a minute …… This bird wouldn’t be the Quantum Beast mentioned on Thousand Degrees of Thousand Sciences1I have no idea how he knows of this information to be honest, I’m pretty sure it’s the first time it’s mentioned in the story so I don’t know if he read it beforehand when his head started hurting from the information influx? ^^’, would it?
Jun Ye’s astonished gaze fell on the black bird.
The black bird immediately stopped its actions, gracefully perching on Little Recluse’s shoulder and slightly leaning its body forward in Jun Ye’s direction, with its tail feathers raised and spread.
Jun Ye shifted his gaze back to Little Recluse.
Little Recluse was staring at him with his usual dark eyes, hands resting on his thighs, back straight. He seemed ready to launch an attack at any moment yet also as if he were undergoing some sort of inspection.
It is said that the quantum beast is a true reflection of its master’s innermost self.
A scene suddenly flashed in Jun Ye’s mind: Little Recluse sitting up straight, with his long tail feathers raised high behind him.
Jun Ye gazed at the duo.
In his mind, he said to himself: “He’s courting me.”
Little Recluse regarded him as a potential mate, which was why he didn’t show any dissatisfaction when Jun Ye intruded into the bathroom. And also, the reaction because of Jun Ye’s presence.
Jun Ye sighed deeply.
He thought to himself, “System, this time I didn’t seduce the mission target; he’s the one tempting me.”
Under the watchful gaze of the duo, Jun Ye approached and sat down on the half of the couch that Little Recluse deliberately left empty.
The couch was small, and with both of them sitting on it, their legs were touching.
However, in their case, it was Little Recluse’s tightly muscled thigh that passed through Jun Ye’s hospital gown-clad spiritual body.
Seeing this, Little Recluse’s breath hitched.
Carefully, he moved his leg to the other side, exposing Jun Ye’s slender leg wrapped in the hospital gown. Only then did he let out a soft sigh of relief.
Jun Ye: “…”
If you hadn’t squeezed your fingers red, I would have thought your mating display was fake.
Jun Ye reached out and lightly placed his hand on the exposed part of Little Recluse’s thigh.
Though he couldn’t feel anything, it didn’t stop him from imagining.
Little Recluse’s honest physical reaction was the best aphrodisiac, visible through his instantly tensed muscles, gradually heavier breathing, and the lump under the white towel growing larger.
Jun Ye squinted in satisfaction, but then he keenly sensed something emerging from the other person’s body.
Instinctively feeling danger, before he could react, his entire body was bound by something as thin and sticky as spider silk.
Without penetrating his body, it was a solid bind, like a cocoon, enveloping him.
Wherever the “spider silk” touched, a strange sensation spread—a sensation that gradually intensified, triggering the most instinctive bodily responses.
Jun Ye struggled to break free from the “cocoon,” but after a few attempts, the once active “cocoon” suddenly quieted down and gradually retreated from his body.
Feeling lighter, Jun Ye gasped for breath.
Raising his eyes, he saw Little Recluse staring at him with bloodshot eyes, pressing down on him with tense muscles, fingers deeply embedded in the leather couch.
But all of this was overshadowed by the chaotic dance of the black silk web behind him…
Gritting his teeth, his voice hoarse, Little Recluse said slowly, “Please, mate with me.”
Jun Ye almost wanted to go back and tear the system apart.
What a terrifying world this was! Doing such shameful things even to a non-corporeal soul…
…
Curled up in the corner of the couch, Jun Ye was partially submerged in the sofa without realizing it.
A black silk thread from behind Little Recluse gradually extended forward and, under Jun Ye’s furious gaze, entered his forehead, making contact with something inside him.
The familiar sensation, different from the last time, wasn’t completely uncontrollable. This time, Jun Ye could clearly feel the black silk thread tentatively touching the transparent thread inside him.
Then, their tips began to entwine, gradually forming a knot.
After the “knot” was formed, Jun Ye felt the emotions from the other party, a more intense sensation, equivalent to climaxing twice…
Jun Ye struggled to withdraw his consciousness, which was even more difficult than pulling it out during intimacy.
But he managed it. Turning his head, he looked at Little Recluse, who had collapsed at the edge of the couch, his eyes unfocused, skin flushed, drenched in sweat, looking even more disheveled than Jun Ye.
With a slightly relieved heart, Jun Ye let his consciousness back in, continuing to enjoy the aftermath as a sage.
After about fifteen minutes, Little Recluse’s gaze gradually focused on Jun Ye, who was now lying on the couch.
Ignoring that most of his body was hanging out of the couch, Little Recluse carefully moved his hands and feet away from the overlapping parts with Jun Ye’s spiritual body, cradling him in a posture as if holding a person normally.
Overflowing with infinite affection and sweetness, his heart was full.
Jun Ye pretended to be dead.
If it weren’t for the fact that the little black silk thread had transmitted the other’s emotions to him since they were bound together, he wouldn’t have known that beneath Little Recluse’s cold, hard exterior lay such a girlish sentiment.
He lay like that for over an hour, and Little Recluse stared at him for over an hour, not allowing him to move an inch even though half his body had gone numb.
In the end, it was Jun Ye who couldn’t take it anymore. He rolled backward, escaping through the back of the couch.
Little Recluse hurriedly got up, his body in pain, and, amidst the urging flapping of the black bird, he ignored the pain to check around the sofa.
But there was nothing behind the sofa.
The black bird flapped its wings and landed on the back of the couch, joining Little Recluse in staring at the empty floor.
“Squawk, squawk!” You messed up again!
“Shut up!”
Meanwhile, Jun Ye opened his eyes, finding himself once again facing the plain white ceiling.
“…”
Um… he really didn’t intend to come back.
Lol so… they uhm… mentally… had… uhm… fun??? Also, I love the black bird x)
