The dean and the others were already at the peak of the Eternal realm, and they could go toe-to-toe with half-step third realm powerhouse Gumo using their forbidden weapon. It was unnatural, especially considering that Gumo also had powerful high-dimensional treasures, including multiple third-realm weapons.

Although the human race had some superficial knowledge of the scientific lineage, their evolutionary path didn’t follow it.
“Although we know the basics of the scientific lineage, we are not true high-dimensional scholars,” the dean said, nodding. “The scientific lineage seeks the essence of all phenomena. Xu Jingming nodded in agreement.
Half-step third-realm combat strength was a dime a dozen in the vast high-dimensional space, especially among Abyss Overlords! They were bestowed powers by the Abyss that made them comparable to half-step third-realm powerhouses in every aspect, even if most were only at the peak of the Eternal realm.
But the scientific lineage—they knew how to wield superpowers with lesser strength, and there was a chance they could produce half-step third-realm combat strength too.
And that was the human race’s ultimate ambition.
“This is our greatest fortuitous encounter,” declared Spacetime Island Lord.
“The scientific ruins are on Myriad Star Island?” Xu Jingming inquired.
“Yes, we’ve relocated them all to Myriad Star Island,” the dean confirmed with a smile and a nod.
“Studying the scientific lineage requires immense care and time
” Xu Jingming was well aware. He said, “If I start studying the ruins
 it will probably take a long time.”
“Even 100 million years of research isn’t enough,” remarked Eternal Tower Master. “Life is limited, but knowledge is infinite.”
Xu Jingming nodded in understanding.
In his home universe, he had spent untold hours learning the basics of science. But it was a whole different ball game to grasp high-dimensional scientific knowledge. It required patience, perseverance, and time.
“You were focused on studying cosmic spacetime so that you could reach the Eternal Realm as soon as possible, so we didn’t distract you,” the dean said. “Since you’ve reached the Eternal Realm, it’s suitable for you to explore the ruins of the scientific lineage. Perhaps there’s something very suitable for you in these ruins.”
“I understand. Before we venture into those scientific ruins, there’s a matter I need to attend to.” His eyes glimmered mischievously. “Dean, do you happen to have one of those incredibly large storage items? You know, the ones that can hold dozens of miniature universes?”
“I do.” Spacetime Island Lord fished out a pendant that looked like a droplet of water. “What do you want it for?”
“May I borrow it for a minute?” He grinned. “I promise, it’ll be worth it. You’ll all be surprised.”
“Surprised?”
The dean, Tower Master, Island Lord, and Redmond exchanged puzzled looks.
Spacetime Island Lord also trusted Xu Jingming very much and handed the pendant to him.
Xu Jingming’s fingers curled around the pendant’s cool surface, and his mind was flooded with the realization of what it contained. A vast and intricate high-dimensional space had been sealed inside.
This pendant is also a spacetime wonder. Xu Jingming immediately realized this.
“I’ll be back in a jiffy.” Xu Jingming held the pendant and grinned before disappearing into thin air.


Heart Realm territory.
Xu Jingming held the pendant and teleported back to his Heart Realm territory. It was a smooth journey, thanks to his Eternal realm status and the fact that his territory was within the same dominion as Myriad Star Island.
The vastness of his territory stretched out before him, and he couldn’t help but marvel at the expansion that came with his newfound power.
Having reached the Eternal realm, a stronger body and stronger mind and consciousness allowed his territory to expand greatly.
Feels like it’s about one-tenth the size of Granddreamer’s. Xu Jingming estimated.
I’ll store the treasures first.
Xu Jingming quickly retrieved the 20 miniature universes from the beast hide space and stowed them away in the spacetime pendant.
These 20 miniature universes are one, so I have to remove them at the same time! And treasures that can store 20 miniature universes
 are very rare. He sighed wistfully.
Time to return.
With the 20 miniature universes and the Eight Directions Map, Xu Jingming immediately teleported back to Myriad Star Island.

“Surprise us in a minute?” the dean quipped, a wry smile on his face. “What kind of surprise can this kid have?”
“We’ve done so much in high-dimensional space over the years, but only the science lineage can be considered our fortuitous encounter. Only that can be considered a huge surprise.” Eternal Tower Master smiled and said, “Xu Jingming has only been a high-dimensional lifeform for 7,000 years. I’m very curious about what kind of surprise he has.”
“The surprise should take up a lot of space,” Spacetime Island Lord guessed.
“Otherwise, he wouldn’t have borrowed the treasure from you,” the dean teased. Redmond also waited curiously.
Xu Jingming returned after they exchanged a few words.
