After hanging up the phone, Li Shan’s hands trembled slightly.
It worked!
Ye Tian had agreed to come to their house for dinner!
Even without prior notice, Ye Tian actually agreed.
In addition, listening to Ye Tian’s tone, it seemed like he would be at his house very soon!
“Hurry up and get ready, he’ll be here soon.” Li Shan urged as he came out of the room.
He would have bought more things if he knew that Ye Tian was coming to his house for dinner.

Her dad was still trying to convince them, she thought.

“Yan’er go and see who it is. If it’s Uncle Sun, tell him I have something to do today and can’t be bothered to drink with him!” Li Shan said without raising his head.
Even though Ye Tian had just said he would be here soon, it had only been ten minutes since he had hung up the phone.
Unless Ye Tian was waiting around to come to his house for dinner, there was no way he could have arrived so quickly!
So Li Shan subconsciously thought it was a neighbor coming to have a drink together.

After all, Uncle Sun was his love rival thirty years ago, so it was fine for his daughter to recognize someone else as her godfather, but definitely not Uncle Sun!
