He’s at an age where he wants a partner. That in itself is a good thing, isn’t it?
The other person may be a problem, though.
It all started with the gang of burglars.
It seems that the hunting party led by Shuten had encountered them on the way to the Foothandle.
This is the Foothandle that the tiger skins have been burglarizing for years. There are no more jars left to break.
The group of five, who must have come out of the ruins of the wall, met with Shuten and the others and immediately went into battle mode.
“That was a tough opponent, Gahahaha.”
Ogre is laughing, but he seems to have suffered a painful wound and has bandages wrapped around his body.
It seems that he is in good health, but it is questionable whether he will be able to return as a hunter.
You’re lucky you have a successor, aren’t you? Oh, so that’s why you can smile.
“They were definitely tough, but more than that, they were a bunch of guys with strange skills. There were situations where I would have been in danger if it weren’t for this body.”
Shuten is unharmed. His body is so hard to get a scratch on.
However, it’s not easy to make Shuten feel threatened, since Shuten himself was an excellent warrior.
“That’s weird……”
I listened to the report while snacking on a hot dog in the conference room.
I was about to dismiss him, thinking that it was okay that he came back safely, but Suzuka took me out, saying that it was the Lord’s job to take interest and receive reports.
Mama Suzuka has been tough lately.
But seeing is better than hearing, so we had a viewing session with Yahata’s video on a monitor set up in the conference room.
The burglars who came forward claimed to be a heroic party. I knew it.
As I looked at Shuten and the Ogre, I was thinking that I would have taken them by surprise while they were saying their names, and then the battle finally started. I should have fast forwarded.
The five opponents are a heroic party of sorts.
He’s so brave that you might think he’s just waiting to get in on the action.
First, the self-proclaimed heroic bastard who called himself Beigain. He has a double-edged sword and shield, and although he is lightly armored, his body is protected in all the right places.
It is a sword that uses technology from a previous era, as it is able to compete with Shuten’s tuna knife.
Next was a heavily armed soldier who called himself Senjin. He’s probably a warrior or a tank or something, holding a big shield and wielding a one-handed axe.
He is desperately trying to catch Mizaru’s club attack even though he is out of shape. It’s a great effort against a monster like an armed gorilla.
The archer who called himself Locke was also quite good, aiming at Shuten for cover, but after being blocked by Ogre, he brought him into the fray.
But these three are normal. The other two women are the reason why I call them strange.
One of them was named Yoko, a thing with a wide-brimmed triangular hat. I haven’t really been reincarnated into another world, right?
For some reason, I felt relieved when I saw the wand-like weapon that this cosplayer was carrying. It’s a weapon that uses science. Hmm.
High pressure compressed gas injection gun. Bubbles the condensed gas with the capacity of an air gun.
This is a weapon that was created in an era when various social conditions, including problems with resources, led to the development of weapons that did not require live ammunition.
If the target is too far away, the gas will burn out before it reaches the target, so the range is limited, but the power at mid-range is reasonable. What’s more, this wand automatically generates gas.
They say the logic is the same as humans producing a gas called fart. It stinks.
Yamada’s right, it’s a good weapon. We can handle as many as we want.
And the other one. Maybe this one is the main one.
Dressed in white called Yukime. A red circle in the middle of her clothes. Is it a Japanese flag?
She was dressed somewhat like a monk or something. At first I thought she was useless because she was hiding behind the party, but her real value was not in battle.
Senjin was finally unable to withstand Mizaru’s attack and was blown away. Yukime rushed to his side and touched him, and the wounds that Senjin had sustained healed in a flash.
Yakou dodged the other four and held Yukime back, but Ogre, agitated by the scene, took advantage and suffered an arrow wound.
Shuten and his team, who were winning on their own, eventually won, but since it was their first experience fighting with exploding flying tools and recovery magic, they had quite a hard time.
“Toki, this is…”
“A bioweapon, if you will.”
I now understand what Yamada meant when he said that they are strong in the Holy Land.
It is true that if we, as represented by the defense system, were to seriously attack them with physical force, they would be defeated, but in a Holy Land with a medieval level of civilization, people would call them elite, depending on how you appeal to them.
“Probably HC cells.”
Is this why you gave me Yakou as a gift?
I haven’t looked into it yet, so I can’t say for sure, but I’m guessing it’s a group of people who have been implanted with the restorative powers of the Yakou in some way.
Assuming there is no such thing as magic, the only way to heal wounds is to rely on the body’s ability to heal itself. There is a way to accelerate it, but it doesn’t make sense that it can heal just by touching it.
So, in this case, it is more natural to think that they are people who originally had strong healing abilities, but had them suppressed, and that Yukime can temporarily release their healing abilities by touching them.
So where did she get that healing ability from? Only Yakou can think of a place.
If a normal human acquires Yakou’s recovery ability, the body will not be able to withstand it. This is because Yakou, who is constantly exercising his abilities, has an extreme physical energy circulation.
The reason why he is able to maintain that body, which would have instantly become thin and dead, is because his body was designed to withstand it.
But only if they can do so temporarily, not constantly. In other words, if a normal human being can be given the same abilities as a Yakou, albeit with limitations, then……
Another reason why I arrived at this guess. That is the development of Yakou.
After successfully capturing all of them, Yakou began to get nervous while carrying them. Perhaps as a living being, he sensed something identical to confidence?
Yakou lost his patience and attacked Yoko and Yukime. I can’t tell which one is the bad guy.
“The only thing that was comforting was that after it was over, both Yoko and Yukime started saying things like, “Yako-sama~a!”
They are completely submissive……. They instinctively understood that Yakou was their superior.
So this is what I’m guessing is the deciding factor, but whatever…….
“Why didn’t Shuten and Ogre stop him?”
“If it’s the enemy, it doesn’t matter.”
I don’t want a rapist in my garden or anything. Oh, but if they finally obeyed, can this be seen as a consent?
……Yeah, let’s put it that way.
I feel sorry for Beigain, though, who was crying tears of blood.
Was he a harem hero? Then that’s a good spook.
If he hadn’t been gagged, the vindictive words must have been spoken in a persistent manner.
“So, where are they now?”
“The three men were thrown into the prison that Toki-dono had built for Yakou. The two women were brought back home by Yakou.”
