Yesterday, the Hero, Sir Roland picked me up.
Now I can finally have a meal.
I can’t use much magic, but I decided to do my best to repay him for picking me up, and the morning after I finished my first request…
“What!? Sir Roland got into a fight at the inn and was detained by the Adventurers’ Guild!?”
“Yeah, apparently. The guild official told me that he would be taken to the Central Temple, an organization that manages the Heros around the world. So, we – including you, of course, Fiine – have to think about what we’re going to do.”
Stella, a senior member of the party, told me that Sir Roland had been captured.
No way …… I thought I was so lucky to be picked up by someone with such a great job as a Hero.

“I don’t know. I have never heard of it before, but according to the guild official, Ms. Tabitha, it is in another country.”
“Does this mean that Sir Roland’s party will be dissolved!?”
“Yeah, that’ll happen. I heard that you can go with Roland, but I wouldn’t recommend it.. At least, Grace and I will not follow Roland.”
Oh, no! I can’t believe that Ms. Stella, who is kind enough to heal me if I get hurt, and Ms. Grace, who is amazing at fighting monsters in super close quarters, are both leaving the party!
“Oh …… it’s because you have to go to another country after all, isn’t it?”
“That’s not the only reason …… but, well. Maybe Fiine didn’t realize it because she hadn’t been here long, but Roland was going to attack you at every opportunity, wasn’t he?”
“What!? Attack Fiine? The only thing Fiine has on her is her wand and her robe, and she doesn’t have anything expensive on her, you know.”
“That’s not what I meant …… Well, whatever. Grace and I are talking about recruiting new members for our group, and I was wondering if you would like to come along?”

Fiine is a Witch, which is a rare job, but for some reason, no matter how much she practices, she can’t improve her offensive magic.
I’m wonder if Fiine has no talent or if it’s a characteristic of her job as a Witch, but it seems that the Witch job is so rare that there is hardly any precedent for it, and even the Adventurers’ Guild doesn’t know about it.

I was relieved to hear that Stella had invited me, and I told Ms. Grace again that I would be in her care as well.

When Ms. Tabitha took us inside, I saw Sir Roland, a man in armor, and a very macho gorilla-like man sitting there.
It seems that this gorilla is the most important person in the guild.
That arm is thicker than Fiine’s leg, though …… Is the strongest person the most important person?
“I’m sorry. As you may have heard from Tabitha, Roland decided to work together with this Daniel. What about the three of you? You can work together, or you can leave, of course. The decision is yours.”
“The three of us have talked it over, and we’ve all decided to leave. Thank you, Roland, for all your hard work.”
“W-What!? Stella, don’t tell me …… you’re not going to go to Alex’s place like Ellie did, are you?”
Ellie? Alex? …… As I recall, they were Sir Roland and Ms. Stella’s original teammates?
Ms. Stella was very complimentary of the guy named Alex, so I thought maybe she liked him! I was so excited when I heard about it, but I wonder how is it actually?
She said he was like a knight in the truest sense of the word, who would absolutely protect them from anything.

“Our affairs are no longer your concern. Goodbye.”
Ms. Stella strode out of the room, and Ms. Grace followed her.

I didn’t really understand what Sir Roland wanted to say, but I understood that Mr. Gorilla was willing to consult with me, so I bowed and left the room…

Sir Roland’s shout echoed through the hallway.
I wonder what is a “bitch”?
For now, I’ll leave the difficult stuff aside and try my best to be useful to Ms. Stella and Ms. Grace!
