“Uh, ahem. Ellie seems to have calmed down for the time being, so please introduce yourself.”
At one point, it seemed as if the house was going to be obliterated by the magic power being concentrated in Ellie’s right hand, but with desperate excuses – or rather, persuasion – I managed to ask her to get rid of it.

“I’m Ellie, Alex’s childhood friend and an arch wizard. Alex and I live next door to each other, and we’ve been together since we were three years old.
