“Huh? There’s a small town?” Zhao Yao’s eyes lit up as he saw a small town a few thousand meters away. He leaped, made a turn in mid-air and flew towards the town. He landed stealthily a few hundred meters away and entered the town like a normal tourist.

Once he walked in the town, he felt gazes of animosity directed at him. He noticed a few local men staring at him under the eaves.

A young girl served him water and glanced at him. She hesitated for a while and said, “Leave once you’re done. The locals don’t like you.” She left without waiting for Zhao Yao’s reply.

Sheriff, in Zhao Yao’s arms, said, “Zhao Yao, the townsfolk’s… animosity is intense.”

Zhao Yao smiled and replied, “I want for them to treat us as enemies, otherwise how do we find the cats?”

As Zhao Yao at the dishes halfway, his ears quivered and he heard a large vehicle convoy coming from outside.

A few minutes later, dozens of jeeps and combat vehicles screeched to a halt in the middle of the town. The rebels disembarked and lay siege to the hotel.

The hotel owner and the young girl hid behind the door trembling while Zhao Yao sat at his original position and finished his meal casually.

Bam! More than ten rebels wearing an assortment of equipment and carrying various weapons barged in like ruffians and started yelling as they surrounded Zhao Yao.

A rebel leader gazed at Zhao Yao and said, “Are you that Asian bounty hunter? Did you attack three of our strongholds?”

Zhao Yao surveyed the rebels and said telepathically to Merlin, Anthony and Sheriff, “We can’t use superpowers as we’re in the Forbidden Devil’s zone. Looks like there’s a Forbidden Devil’s apostle here.”

Anthony smiled and said sarcastically, “It’s ironic that this band of poor rebel soldiers have the Forbidden Devil’s Zone supercat. If everyone doesn’t have superpowers, aren’t they the weakest?”

Zhao Yao’s target was to capture the Divine Fire Palace’s supercats while completing his mission. He was especially interested in the supercat with the Forbidden Devil’s Zone superpower.

He agreed to exterminate the rebel soldiers for the local government as it was worth 5000 experience points.

He could accumulate supercats and experience points at the same time.

Zhao Yao thought, “With the Forbidden Devil’s Zone, Extradimensional Belly and Elizabeth’s Control superpower, I should be able to subdue Project X completely. I’ll treat Roly Poly and Sphynx cat so that they can help me with the missions and increase my efficiency.”

He was not sure if the Forbidden Devil’s Zone superpower was effective against the alien cats.

Zhao Yao’s current priority was to fight against the alien cats so he was seeking ways to increase his combat power and efficiency.

Zhao Yao thought that after the trip to America, he would be stronger and could subdue Project X. Then he could revive Roly Poly and Sphynx cat.

Zhao Yao frowned. Sounds of tires screeching and gunshots rang outside. Hundreds of American soldiers in the latest battle gear fought into the hotel.

The rebel leader exclaimed, “The Americans are here!”

“Let’s fight them!”

“No, defend the hotel! I’m calling reinforcements!”

In the chaotic gunfire, the rebels held their ground in the hotel. As their equipment was inferior, they sustained the growing casualties.

Less than half an hour later, the rebels surrendered and squatted in the courtyard with their hands hugging their heads.

The American troops stormed into the hotel and saw the trembling hotel owner, the waitress and Zhao Yao, who was having his meal.

The American leader, Mike, frowned as he said to Zhao Yao, “Who are you? Why are you here?”

A few seconds later, a loud rumbling sound rang in the air as a glow of fire flashed by. The hotel roof was torn open and a young girl with flaming wings wielding a flaming longsword descended from the sky. Her cold gaze, which was filled with murderous intent, was fixed on the American soldiers.
