Ares secretly gloated at Fish Ball, who was at a loss of what to do.

“Serves you right for being so arrogant all the time. You have no abilities, fighting skill, and basically no talent, yet you still managed to date so many cats. The only thing you have is that pretty face.”

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. Ares said, “Fish Ball, let me pinch your face so that it becomes smaller.”

Elizabeth said, “What b*llshit is that. Are you trying to make his face deformed?” She walked up to Fish Ball and sized up his face. She glanced at Cameron for a while before she said, “It’s not an impossible task. Let me groom Fish Ball’s fur and add some illusions. That should do the trick.”

As she said that, Elizabeth put down her backpack. She took out bottles and cans of beauty hair powder ¹ , talcum powder, cat paw wax, deodorant spray, perfume, silver vine… and many other things.

Ares was speechless when he saw Elizabeth smearing all those products on Fish Ball’s face. Ares thought to himself, “She said she didn’t know what beauty hair powder was…”

Elizabeth’s ears twitched. She turned and glared at Ares. “What did you say?”

“Would Fish Ball look okay like this?” Ares quickly asked. “Will the two of them really look alike after using these things?”

“Humph,” Elizabeth swayed her luscious, furry tail and said, “Makeup is only one of the steps. Once I touch up Fish Ball’s face shape and his fur I will use illusions to make further adjustments. After these are done, they should look almost the same.”

After a moment, Fish Ball and Cameron stood side by side. The two cats looked really similar and were almost indistinguishable from each other.

“Not bad, not bad,” Zhao Yao nodded in approval and said. “Then that’s settled. Fish Ball, you will masquerade as Cameron.”

Hence, not long after Cameron and the servant disappeared, Zhao Yao had donned the servant’s clothes and carried Fish Ball in his arms as he walked towards the manor.

There were supercats all around Zhao Yao, protected by the optical invisibility of the Deflective Field complemented with some illusions. Normal people would never be able to sense the presence of this mini village among them.

Fish Ball said in a slightly nervous tone, “Zhao Yao, Zhao Yao, I can’t even speak English. What am I supposed to do later?”

Zhao Yao said, “You just need to talk to cats. There are no language barriers in telepathic communication.”

Just as the two were communicating telepathically, they had already reached the main hall of the manor. Zhao Yao could not help widening his eyes in amazement at the grandeur that greeted them when they walked in.

Everything about the main hall was exquisitely detailed. Every table and chair had intricate flower patterns and grooves carved on top-grade material. The influential and wealthy of all kinds of trades walked around the hall. Zhao Yao was momentarily blinded by the shimmering reflection of the gold, platinum, diamonds, and shiraishi diamonds all around.

“Why don’t I just rob everyone here and go back home. Forget about the meteorite fragments.”

Zhao Yao quickly shook his head and cast aside that temptation. “No no, I can’t do that. Sphynx cat and Roly Poly are still waiting for me to save them.”

Zhao Yao carried Fish Ball and walked into the main hall as he spoke, “Fish Ball, find a few supercats to talk to and ask them about Arthas. It’s best if you can find out what his superpower is.”

Zhao Yao was walking around idly with Fish Ball in his arms, trying to find a few supercats to dig out information from when two servants hugging a Garfield cat and a Ragdoll cat stopped in front of him.

“The Garfield cat who was being held started laughing scornfully. “Hahahaha, everybody come and look, isn’t this Cameron? You actually have the guts to come here today to attend Mr. Arthas’ banquet?”

Fish Ball paused for a moment before he raised his head up and looked down on the Garfield cat condescendingly, not saying a word. However in his heart he was shrieking in panic at Zhao Yao, “Zhao Yao, Zhao Yao! What should I do! Seems like we ran into that cat’s acquaintances.”

Zhao Yao replied, “It’s okay. I don’t think they’re nice friends. Just keep at what you’re doing now.”

When the Garfield cat saw Fish Ball’s arrogant and nonchalant demeanour, he got so angry he started wagging his tail in anger. “Cameron! Don’t you dare look down on me! Who doesn’t know that that governor in your house is about to step down. Let’s see who will be able to protect you with those mediocre abilities of yours!”

Fish Ball snorted at the Garfield cat without saying a word, making the Garfield cat burst into tears of rage.

Next, he suddenly jumped into the other servant’s arms. He licked the Ragdoll cat as he said to Fish Ball tauntingly, “Hehe, Cameron, look right here. Selena has agreed to be my girlfriend. Doesn’t that anger you so much… yet you can’t do anything about it?”

Fish Ball said angrily, “Zhao Yao, although I don’t know this guy, he’s being down right despicable right now. Can I beat him up?”

Zhao Yao took a step forward and pushed Fish Ball towards the Garfield cat and the Ragdoll cat as he said, “Do it.”

Seeing how close he was to the Garfield cat, Fish Ball panicked. “Don’t put me so close, what if he bites me?”

The Garfield cat screamed, “Cameron! What are you doing? I’m warning you don’t you dare get violent at Mr. Arthas’ banquet! Or else you won’t walk out here alive!”

As the Garfield cat started waving his paws around madly, the servant hugging him quickly took a few steps back.

The Ragdoll cat shook her head in exasperation. She looked at Fish Ball as she said, “Cameron, don’t blame me. You won’t be able to give me the kind of life I want now. I don’t want to be dragged down by you, let’s just be friends from now on.”

As she said that, the Ragdoll cat waved her paw and pointed to a different direction, leaving together with the Garfield cat.

Fish Ball was furious. “Zhao Yao! Why didn’t you teach them a lesson! Somehow I feel like I’ve been made a cuckold.”

“Cuckold your head. Don’t be too invested in acting. We are here to catch Arthas. Everything else here is none of our business.” Zhao Yao carried Fish Ball and walked a few steps more before he saw a group of supercats gathered around a leather kitty tower.

A few of the supercats clearly knew Cameron as they began to greet him from afar.

“Cameron! You’re still in the mood to come for the banquet!”

“Cameron, Tom is looking for you everywhere. Be careful.”

Tom was obviously that obnoxious Garfield cat they met just now.

Fish Ball asked them, “Do you guys know where Arthas is?”

“Who knows?” A black cat shrugged his shoulders and said, “Although Arthas threw this banquet, he won’t appear everytime.”

“He’s one the big nine elders in the Star Cats Alliance after all. There’s too many things he needs to do everyday.”

“Have you all heard the news? I heard the Star Cats also sent apostles as reinforcement to the beach this time.”

As he watched their conversation slowly go off track, Fish Ball had no choice but to interject again. “Speaking of that, do you guys know what Arthas’ power is?”

In that instant, the few supercats quietened down. They stared at Fish Ball in astonishment.

Fish Ball was confused by their reaction. “Why? Did I say something wrong?”
