The tri-colored cat immediately replied, “No… that can’t be. I didn’t owe so much originally.”
Roly Poly narrowed his eyes at her and said, “Miss, there’s interest when you borrow money. Though we are a small business, we can’t let our brothers starve.”

Zhao Yao shook his head and continued, “You are considered an old cat. By right I shouldn’t be pressing you so hard for payment.”
Mei Mei nodded her head vigorously.
Zhao Yao continued, “But even a landlord doesn’t have extra food to spare. Don’t be deceived by the looks of this Cat Wonderland. Though it’s big and business is good, everything about it needs money. I still owe the bank a few billions worth of loans, I can’t sleep every night because of that.”
Mei Mei started crying. “Brother Yao, I really didn’t mean it. How would I know that Portugal would lose to Uruguay… I talked to Cristiano Ronaldo’s cat on the phone yesterday. He clearly told me that there would be no problem. Who would’ve guessed that they still lost in the end.

Zhao Yao shook his head and said, “Then tell me, how do you intend to pay off your debt?”
Mei Mei bit on her teeth before she said, “I don’t need my pay for the next two years. I can use that to pay off my debts instead. Would that be okay?”
“No no, if you don’t have your pay how will you eat and play? I will still have to give you your pay.”
Mei Mei let out a breath as she thought how Zhao Yao still had that bit of humanity in him.
However, Zhao Yao continued to say, “But you’re earning too little down here. You should go up and work from now on.”
Mei Mei’s face changed as she replied, “Go up? Brother Yao, you want me to go up and attend to customers?”
Zhao Yao nodded, “Yeah, why? You don’t want to?”
Mei Mei cried, “Brother Yao! I’m a cat from a decent household too. Can you give me another job?”
Zhao Yao’s face darkened. “You’re saying that my business is indecent?”
Mei Mei immediately crossed her paws as she replied, “No, that’s not what I meant.”
“Then that’s right. You will have many opportunities up there,” Zhao Yao said sincerely. “I took your looks into account, that’s why I recommended you go up. After working for a few years up there, you can earn enough money to retire on Cat Island, that’s not too bad right?”
Seeing how Mei Mei was about to rebuke him, Zhao Yao waved a hand to stop her and continued, “Where’s Matcha? Bring him up to talk her into this. Don’t mistake good intentions for ill intent. Once you make big money you will understand that it’s all for your own good.”
Matcha jumped from the sofa at the side and smiled lewdly, “Leave it to me. I will definitely educate her well.”
Mei Mei was immediately dragged away by Matcha and his cats. Zhao Yao sighed and started to search for news about Kun Wu. He was still very concerned about this special supercat. Furthermore, Doll’s abilities were not to be underestimated. “Matcha, it’s me!” Yellow Mud stared at Matcha, slightly abashed, as he said, “They said this Cat Wonderland is run by you guys. I didn’t believe them at first, but wow Matcha you’re really amazing! You’re already a manager at such a young age!”
Matcha patted Yellow Mud’s head affectionately and said, “So it’s you, Yellow Mud. Come, come, let me treat you to some meat. We brothers haven’t met in such a long while.”
Not long after, plates of fish and meat were served on the table. Yellow Mud gaped at the food before him and said agitatedly, “Matcha, this… this is really your treat for me?”
“Yeah, go ahead and eat.”
Yellow Mud looked at the meat that was still being served and immediately waved his paws and gestured to stop as he said, “Enough, enough, we can’t finish so much food.” Especially after seeing the price of the food on the menu, Yellow Mud was so shocked that he dropped a whole bunch of fur. He told Matcha in a small voice, “Matcha, this place is so expensive.”
Matcha waved him off and said, “Relax, you don’t need to pay when you eat with me.”
