The wound healed immediately and Promise thought, “Ultra Rapid Regeneration? That is why the poison is ineffective against him. So he had this ability all along? The King of Death didn’t inform us? Or he was in the dark too?”

Zhao Yao did not show any signs of pain and Promise thought, “Doesn’t he feel pain?” Ultra Rapid Regeneration was rare, however, Lucifer was not the only cat to have such ability. Promise had heard of such an ability before, however, she had never heard of anyone amputating themselves for fun using this ability.

Promise shook her head. “He is a lunatic but doesn’t he feel pain…”

Zhao Yao gazed at Promise and Black Tiger and said, “Are the two of you apostles? If you do not cooperate, I will lend you the Ultra Rapid Regeneration ability and cut off your hands and legs for fun.”

Two of them trembled. Even with Ultra Rapid Regeneration, they did not possess the mental strength and the willpower to go through amputations of their body parts.

While they were hesitating, the men behind them already volunteered to help Zhao Yao.

Zhao Yao didn’t release any of the apostles of the three armies. After emptying them of 1 billion dollars, he erased their memories before sending them to the police station.

Because the supercat responsible for the superpower of the Virtual-Spirit Army was not found, Zhao Yao had to wait 24 hours before sending them to the police station.

The Ivory missions were a bumper harvest in terms of money, cats, and experience points.

“I have yet to deal with King of Death.” Zhao Yao thought, “I have to discuss with him.”

As he was contemplating, Roly Poly, Elizabeth, Dust Ball, and Matcha had surrounded him, looking at him in anticipation.

Roly Poly thought, “I hope he hasn’t forgotten about the rewards? I have done a lot today.”

Elizabeth thought, “I have accomplished great feats today. Why hasn’t Zhao Yao commended me?”

Dust Ball thought, “Humph, a bunch of useless cats. Without my Dimension Portal, all of you would be dead.”

Sphynx cat glanced at Zhao Yao from afar as he thought, “Well, my issue, Zhao Yao is unable to solve it too…”

Milk Tea was behind Matcha as he looked eagerly at Zhao Yao. He was puzzled and asked Matcha, “Brother Matcha, what are we doing?”

Matcha replied, “We are asking for rewards. Didn’t you see that we just won a battle? How can there be no rewards after winning? Zhao Yao has to give out money and presents.”

Milk Tea said bewilderedly, “But we didn’t do anything.”

Matcha said in the tone of an experienced hand, “You are very young Milk Tea. Who set the rule that you can’t get money without any work? You will get money whether you work or not. This is called fairness.”

Milk Tea asked befuddled, “Really?”

“Of course.” Matcha said seriously, “This technique is called the kitten that meows gets to eat the canned food. If you ask with initiative, humans will give things to you. This is my hard-earned experience over the past three years. You have to remember it.”

Zhao Yao hesitated for a while and cuddled Matcha’s head. “Tonight, you may sleep on my pillow.”
