Their relationship was getting better as Zhao Yao depended on storytelling and supply of sanitary pads to gain Wheatley’s trust and admiration. His status in Frosted Teeth City was highly elevated.
Wheatley’s battles in the northern territories were not doing well. Ya Xing’s cat slaves continued their advance and Wheatley continued to lose her territories. Her cat slaves were captured, controlled and used to attack Wheatley’s territories.
Ya Xing’s cat slaves were seen lurking around Frosted Teeth City.
Wheatley was not affected. She clung onto Zhao Yao for his stories and jokes. The rest of the cat slaves were getting worried.

On Earth, Closers World continued on full load and the evolution progress pressed on. Catherine became the second supercat to reach Level 25. She could absorb 50% of attacks from power of awareness and boost her power of awareness by 300%.
Hence Zhao Yao thought, “Which one should I upgrade?”
After some pondering, Zhao Yao felt that Time Freeze was more flexible and useful.
Zhao Yao upgraded Matcha to Level 15.
Matcha did not have transformation superpower but he had two evolution paths.
Infinite Time Freeze: You have mature control of time and the duration of Time Freeze gets longer. Finally one day, you stand forever in the silence of the universe. With an increase in level, the duration of the Time Freeze increases.
Infinite Longevity: Timeline distortion is as natural as breathing. You are distancing yourself from death. Things fewer things are able to kill you. The cooling down period for Time Distortion reduces as the levels increase.
Zhao Yao’s eyes glimmered as he analyzed the pros and cons of both paths.
Infinite Time Freeze increased the duration of Time Freeze and it was a useful aid but Matcha had Boiling Point and he could have 15 times acceleration during Time Freeze. Infinite Time Freeze had similar effects as Boiling Point.
Infinite Longevity did not have strong aiding effects but it was very important. Who did not want to have a couple lives, especially in the alien planet where it was more dangerous. Zhao Yao wanted a protective skill.
Zhao Yao decided on Infinite Longevity.
After Matcha upgraded to Level 15, Time Distortion’s cooling down period dropped from 180 minutes to 175 minutes.
After looking at BOOK’s situation, Zhao Yao returned to the alien planet and walked towards Wheatley.
As he walked along the palace corridor, he felt something amiss. “It’s too silent… and the atmosphere, why is it oppressive?”
The next moment, he stopped and sniffed hard. “Blood?”
Zhao Yao frowned and pressed forward. He saw Blue Moon run out from a corner. Blue Moon noticed Zhao Yao and shouted, “Guang Yu! Run!”
