The next morning, the Extradimensional Belly was abuzz with activity.

The supercats ran hurriedly to eat breakfast, clean their feet, and wash their faces.

“Quick! Hurry up!” Roly Poly shouted, “This is the first day of school. Nobody’s to be late.”

“Wah!” Rice Cake cried as she hugged a scratching board and wailed, “I don’t want to go to school!”

Cheese said, “Let’s go Rice Cake. If Zhao Yao sees you like this, he’s going to be unhappy.”

Rice Cake wailed louder, “Why should kittens go to school?”

Cheese consoled her, “Don’t cry Rice Cake. School’s fun and you’ll get to know other kittens. It’s fun to play together…”

“You kidding me!” Rice Cake grabbed onto the scratching board for her life and wailed, “Ooooo! Fish Ball told me yesterday that he rather die than to study in elementary school. He said there’s no playing in school and they serve horrible food!”

Uncle Egg’s paws flashed with electrical sparks. He touched Rice Cake lightlyand she convulsed before falling to the ground.

Uncle Egg curled his claws and said, “Carry her off.” Caesar and Lion Head came up and lifted Rice Cake before proceeding to the Dimension Portal.

Gaia, who was calmly playing his cell phone game at the side, witnessed Rice Cake being electrocuted and brought away.

Gaia scoffed, “Naive kitten, you thought you wouldn’t need to go to school by hanging onto the scratching board? Silly Rice Cake, you’re too petty.”

Ares said to Gaia, “Gaia, stop playing. Get ready to go to school.”

Gaia sneered and said, “My leg is broken. I can’t go to school.”

“Ah?” Ares looked in shock at Gaia.

Gaia showed his leg that he had purposely broken the night before and said, “The bone’s broken. I’m taking medical leave.” He thought, “If I don’t have to study, what’s the deal with breaking my leg. If I don’t have courage, how will I become a professional player… Oh! What are you doing?”

Ares used the Deflective Field to carry Gaia and said, “Zhao Yao said, as long as you’re able to breathe, you have to study.”

Latte hid in an internet cafe. He looked at the video from inside the Extradimensional Belly and witnessed Gaia being captured to go school. He said proudly, “A group of silly cats with IQs lower than 90. They won’t be able to catch me today.”

Latte intended to say he had a cold and fever due to cat virus so he was unable to go to school.

When he woke up, he predicted the outcome so he abandoned his previous plan. Instead, he escaped from the Extradimensional Belly and hid in a nearby internet cafe.

Latte’s eyes lit up after watching halfway. “Almost time. They’re coming, I have to leave.”

The Star Cats Anthony brought along Arthas, Volcano, and the other cats to the Antarctica.

The Pallas cat Lightning secretly took a Red-Eye plane to the Pallas country to seek asylum.

Kun Wu and Doll landed on the moon…

As the Extradimensional Belly was abuzz with activity, Zhao Yao took two buns and yawned as he walked into the Extradimensional Belly.

Seeing the busy supercats, Zhao Yao recalled his memory. “Is this the first day of school? Hehe, there will be lots of absentees.”

Zhao Yao understood that with the official exposure of supercats in the public eye, letting the supercats receive education and integrate peacefully into society, studying was an effective method, especially for house cats and stray cats.

Bai Quan walked reluctantly to Zhao Yao’s side and said, “Boss, only half the supercats went to school. The other half used their superpowers to play truant.”

Zhao Yao smiled as he nodded. The supercats were used to eating and playing daily so it was weird if they went to school obediently.

He looked at his Book that showed two new missions:

Mission: Study Power of Awareness

Mission Objective: Study the uses of the power of awareness and find a way to expand Closers World’s limit

Reward: 30% of evolution progress

Mission Penalty: None.

Mission: Start of School

Mission Objective: Find and capture all the supercats that played truant

Reward: Every supercat captured is worth 500 experience points

Mission Penalty: None.

Zhao Yao was pleased with the two new missions, especially studying the power of awareness, which was his most important goal. The icing on the cake was the 30% increment in evolution progress. This was the first mission with evolution progress reward.

Zhao Yao had to depend on two avenues to increase his power and protect Earth from Short Fur Tribe.

The first avenue was to develop his catmint business and take a larger market share. With the monthly draws, he would be able to obtain powerful items and strengthen his items like the Cat Prince Costume and the Dragon Slaying Saber.

The second avenue was to gain experience points and the energy from Closers World to obtain evolution progress so that his supercats could upgrade and boost his power.

The first avenue had Bai Quan, Uncle Ho, and Dust Ball doing the job while Zhao Yao waited for the end of the month lottery draw.

The second avenue required him to go to Satol to study the use of power of awareness and the increase of Closers World’s limit for players so that his supercats could upgrade their levels rapidly.

Roly Poly heard Bai Quan and Zhao Yao’s conversation and said fawningly, “Zhao Yao! I’ll help you capture them. The Royal Cat Police Force can be tasked to do it.”

Zhao Yao glanced at Roly Poly and thought, “The mission requires them to be captured and doesn’t need me to do it. I’ll let Roly Poly try first.”

“Okay, Roly Poly, you’ll be in charge of capturing the supercats that skipped school.”
