Since Fu Sichen and his cat were causing her grief, she wanted to bring a dog to scare the Persian cat.
Lin Yousu was not familiar with dogs, but she knew that many young fans liked huskies.
She wanted to grow her fan base through the variety show and hence went along with what was popular with the masses.
However, she found out through that experience that huskies were cute, but that they were also quite unintelligent. Furthermore, they tended to have destructive behaviors!
But the show recording was taking place soon, and Lin Yousu wasnât in the mood to make any changes. Anyway, her Husky was a pedigree, and she spent quite a fortune to acquire it.
Since the job of the dog was simply to scare the Persian cat, it didnât matter what type of dog it was.
Lin Yousu calculated well, hence when the Husky barked at the cat, she only went through the motion of trying to calm it down. In reality, she was hoping to create a big commotion.
Hopes were beautiful, but reality was cruel.
Not only was the Persian cat not frightened, but the Huskyâs bark attracted the parrotâs rude remark of âbeyond stupidity.â When the crowd laughed, Lin Yousu had no choice but to laugh along.
A mocking laugh.
It seemed as if the parrot directed its insult at her for whatever reason.
After the bout of laughter passed, the variety show director coughed to get everyoneâs attention and started to announce the rules of the game. âWeâve written your tasks on pieces of paper hidden around the manor. You will need to work with your pets to find the pieces of paper and complete your tasks! The speed at which you complete your tasks will determine what you and your pets have for dinner tonight.â
Most reality shows were similar, as in they had winners and losers; rewards and penaltiesâthis way, it would increase the palatability of the programme.
There were four to a team in the game.
To increase viewership, Fu Sichen, of course, was âselectedâ by Lin Yousu through drawing lots.
âWow, this must be fated.â A scripted remark. Lin Yousu managed to put on a fantastic act. Looking at Fu Sichen with her most flattered expression, she said, âBest Actor Fu, Iâll look to you for guidance.â
Fu Sichen was expressionless and nodded indifferently as a form of acknowledgment. He carried Pei Zhen and walked towards the manor. Lin Yousu froze for a moment before she quickly tried to catch up, pulling the Husky behind her.
The manor was rented especially for the show and had a huge area of land.
There were many fruit trees planted in the garden. In summer, the lychees looked inviting and grew in big clusters that bent the tree branches with their weight.
Pei Zhen was greedy.
He had previously heard the directing group remark that they could pick fruits in the garden. Pei Zhen lost all restraint, and leaped nimbly from Fu Sichenâs embrace onto his head. From there, he reached out and clung onto a cluster of lychees.
âPei Pei?â Fu Sichen was surprised. He looked up and saw Pei Zhen picking lychees. Furthermore, his movements were skillful, and very much like a human. Grab and snapâthe lychees fell towards the ground.
Once the lychees fell onto the ground, the Husky next to Lin Yousu was full of uncontained enthusiasm. With a swish, he galloped towards the lychees, opened his mouth, and bit into them.
The Husky had no idea of how to properly eat lychees.
The dog would bite, and then spit things out after chewing. Pei Zhenâs heart ached as he watched his own efforts going down the drain. He aggressively dove down from Fu Sichenâs head and delivered a flying kick. âShut up!â
No matter what, the cat was a hero who had previously battled dog thieves. Pei Zhenâs kick was considerably powerful, at least, it had the Huskyâs head pinned to the ground.
âAwwwwwwwâŠâ
The situation shamed the Husky. He lifted his head and started to bark at Pei Zhen, preparing for a showdown with the Persian cat.
How nimble was Pei Zhen!
As the Husky charged up, he did a backflip to dodge. Not only that, with his claws he picked up a few lychees on the way and fired them at the Huskyâs face!
An amazing dog and cat fight.
