Selesina blinked at Hisui’s words.

“Eh…….” But I don’t have any blessings.”

All this time she always believed that and so did her family and fiancé.

“Is that so?……..No, I already knew that I didn’t have any blessings so nothing has changed. Maybe Hisui was also concerned about me.”

Selesina beckoned Hisui and said.

“Can you please prepare the tea?  If you inform Anna, she’ll make it.”

“Thank you.”

After Hisui left the room, Selesina urged Soratek to sit down on the sofa. Selesina sat down next to him and called out to Toi who was waiting in the corner of the room.

“Good boy, Toi.”

Selesina smiled as she watched Toi happily coming towards her.

Watching the fluffy Toi come to Selesina’s front foot up till her knee, Soratek gave a strange look. Once again he inclined his head and asked “Dog?” and then he was convinced that it was certainly a dog.

Since he already had the heroine, it didn’t make any sense for him to care for her.

If he were to dislike Hisui anymore than this then it would become troublesome.

Anna came in with tea and sweet and the conversation about Hisui naturally ended there.

I guess Soratek would also be grateful that he got back the bookmark that was stolen. There was no need for any more discussion.

‘As expected, Hisui didn’t return.’

Her apprentice butler wasn’t present during Soratek’s visit but it wasn’t like she could hold him responsible. Because he would end up ruining Soratek’s mood.

Toi seemed a little lonely so I’ll have to let him spend a lot of time with Hisui later.

“That dog is really friendly.”

“It’s Toi. He’s only friendly to Hisui and me, not really to anyone else.”

Soratek went to pet Tio who was settle at Selesina’s knee but withdrew his hand subconsciously. He had often ridden horses but he didn’t really have too many chances to meet other animals.

In fact, he had been interested in Toi right from the start.

“I think it will be alright if you pet him. But if he dislikes it then please stop immediately.”

“………Understood.”

Soratek extended his hand out gently and stroked the fluffy fur on Toi’s head.

Toi immediately squinted in pleasure and seemed to look pleased.

Toi seemed more mature than Selesina imagined. What if? She wondered as she picked him up and placed him on Soratek’s knee.

“Oi, Sele……what if he doesn’t like me……..?”

Toi happily licked Soratek’s cheek.

Since he was rude to Hisui, it wouldn’t be surprising if Toi didn’t like him.

Toi went closer to Soratek’s right hand.

She thought that Toi was attracted to people who had rare blessings.

If that was the case, then why did Toi like her. Hisui did say that Selesina had her seal in her right eye.
