Chapter 14

Even a rabbit if it got frightened enough would bite someone. No matter how good Jiang Ming’s personality was, at this point in time he was about to explode.
 \n
“Does what we’re doing have anything to do with you?” Jiang Ming said as he angrily stared at the strange guy who no one invited to come.

Bai YueSheng had a very bad feeling. His fears were confirmed just a moment later when with a curve of his almost blindingly beautiful lips, the man said in a lazy manner, “Not my concern? You’re embracing my fiancee and you say it’s none of my concern?”

Bai YueSheng: … When the hell did I become your fiance???

Jiang Ming was shocked speechless. His face changed color from red to green to purple, all the colors of the rainbow. He looked pleadingly at Bai YueSheng, “Ah Sheng, this.. This..”

First the boyfriend, then the husband and now there appeared a fiance? Bai YueSheng really felt sorry for Student Jiang from the bottom of his heart, but he was like Buddha Ni crossing the river, he couldn’t even protect himself so…

{T/N: No idea who “Ni Pusa”/Buddha Ni is. Googled it and seems like he’s a character in a TV show. Assume he had a dangerous river crossing!}

After he stood up and put some distance between him and Jiang Ming, he said in a serious tone, “That’s right, he’s my fiancee.”

Jiang Ming directly froze, transforming into a pitiful gray statue.

Bai YueSheng had no more energy to say any dumb phrases like “Sorry I don’t like you” or “Feelings can’t be forced” so he chose to be silent. While Jiang Ming was still stunned into silence he grabbed the elite god next to him and started to pull him away.

However… Jiang “Poor little rabbit” Ming didn’t want to give up even when facing death! “Ah Sheng, this is all a lie right? It’s because you want me to give up right, that’s why you’re doing this…” His words had hidden words. Bai YueSheng naturally understood. In the short duration of two months there had been a boyfriend and a husband and a fiance… anyone would question Bai YueSheng’s motives.

Bai YueSheng was terrified he was going to say something shocking like, “You already have a husband, how come you also have  fiancee” so he quickly cut in and said, “Sorry this is the real me. Sorry to disappoint you.”

These slag words were so deplorable they directly pierced the heavens. Jiang Ming was so shocked his soul almost left his body. He couldn’t react for some time.

Bai YueSheng looked at the person behind him. “Your Highness… it’s been a long time.”

{T/N: Jeremy is often referred to as “Bi Xia”/陛下 which I’ve translated as “His Majesty”, whereas Neil is referred to as “Dian Xia”/殿下 which I will translate as “His Highness”. I think it’s quite close as “Bi Xia” is used exclusively for the Emperor (I think…) whereas “Dian Xia” can be used by Princes and other highborn lords, which is similar to the difference between Majesty and Highness.}

Even though he was standing in this kind of unaesthetic bathroom environment, this leader of the dragon clan which itself ruled over all the nine different clans, was different from other people. He was like a saint, casting a bright light into every corner of the bathroom, making everything glow as though with a beautiful pearly light.

What kind of nauseating description is this? Bai YueSheng was disgusted by the words from his own brain.

Bai YueSheng had gone through a lot in his lives, his experiences can be said to be unparalleled. However he had to admit that Neil Maine was the most sublimely radiant and self-absorbed creature he had ever met.

That brilliance came from within and overflowed outwards. Even though he had changed his hair color and was no longer golden haired and golden eyed, he still had the charm that made people fall under a spell just by looking at him.

This charm didn’t only work on those of the “outward appearance association”, but also on gold-diggers whose eyes will light up upon looking.

The Bai YueSheng who was both a member of the outward appearance association and also a gold digger entered the trap without any hesitation.

They met in the sixth world that Bai YueSheng had entered. That was a western fantasy world. The continent had been split into the territories of the nine major racial clans, and they fought each other continuously, no one wanted to bow down to anyone. Today they would be at war, tomorrow they would make a peace treaty, and the day after that there would be a palace intrigue. They were all warrior-like races, no one was a pacifist. If you can’t agree on something just directly go to battle, this was a daily occurence.

This kind of constant battling helped fuel the world’s development. Well at least the part which involved battle magic.

In the age of war, strength was the most important thing.

The identity Bai YueSheng had in this world wasn’t too bad. He was a purebred elf, not the little fairy kind with wings, but the kind that had long ears, pale skin with a proud and lofty temperament, with superior agility and archery skills.

The elven race was very powerful. They had a natural affinity and skill with magic that was higher than all of the other races.

As a veteran driver who has gone through five worlds, Bai YueSheng is naturally very familiar with this kind of unscientific power and rapidly transformed from an ordinary elf to a prodigy within the elven clan, with even the potential to become the next Elven King.

Having this kind of identity you would expect that it would be a major help in completing the mission objective. No matter what it was, to be powerful meant it would be easier to complete any task. This was why everytime Bai YueSheng was able to obtain a S-rank grade in his missions.

Like in the interstellar world when Bai YueSheng helped Jeremy conquer the Galaxy, he was finally able to obtain precious “Galaxy Heart” that was the treasure of the most fierce alien race.

In the cultivation world, if Bai YueSheng did not stand at the pinnacle of cultivation, becoming the strongest among the strong, how could be obtain the secret manual that countless people had sought after?

Using the same logic, in the western fantasy world, Bai YueSheng continued to stand in the highest place so that way he could down at the world with a bird’s eye view because that way you could see more, right?

Wrong! What he had not expected was that all his techniques would be crushed in this world!

Bai YueSheng had made a name for himself, collected his own power, all so that he would be able to search for clues better, only to find out that… his mission target deeply hated the elven clan!

What was the extent of the hate, you ask? Well it was the extent that if he so much as saw anyone with pointy ears he should develop an overwhelming urge to bite their heads off.

He should especially like to bite off the heads of purebred elves; those high and mighty, arrogant elves. And if you had the misfortune to be the Elven King then that was even better! This was because one of the requirement to become the leader of this race was to kill the Elven King.

How deep was this hate! Bai YueSheng looked at the information in his hands and wanted to laugh and cry at the same time.

His mission in his life was to seek out a golden dragon.

If a golden dragon is born then without exception, it would become the become the leader of the dragon clan. And this default setting of the dragons deeply detesting the elves really made Bai YueSheng speechless.

Fortunately he had not yet ascended the throne to become the Elven King, otherwise don’t talk about finding a gold dragon, if he even so much as left the house he would probably be surrounded by dragons, each of them vying to bite off his head.

However Bai YueSheng’s name and reputation as a elven prodigy had already spread far and wide. Probably during the time he had been focused on becoming stronger, the dragon clan had already put his name high up on the checklist of “people they want to decapitate the most”.

Bai YueSheng couldn’t change his race so he could only find a different way. After creating some big commotions he left the elven lands, creating a territory for himself outside which he named: New Elven. In fact after leaving he was directly labelled as a traitor, and after a hundred years this place became the origin and birthplace of the night elves.

Because of his lineage, Bai YueSheng’s mission had increased in difficulty exponentially. Trying to get close to the dragon clan was really a trial upon trial. Don’t even think about becoming friends, the first thing he had to worry about was keeping his head!

After decades of conflict Bai YueSheng had already become branded as the biggest traitor in Elven history, but he was still no closer to finding out the whereabouts of the dragon homeland.

If he couldn’t even find the homeland then there was no chance of finding the dragon’s most precious worshipped treasure – His Highness the Golden Dragon.

Just was Bai YueSheng was feeling helpless, he met Neil Maine.

The traitor of the dragon race, the black dragon that according to the Great Prophecy will destroy the world.

Neil Maine soon launched an passionate pursuit of Bai YueSheng. This kind of thing was simply shocking and unheard of in the entire continent of Sienn.

{T/N: The Chinese word is “Xi En” so I dunno how to translate that. Google translate seems to think it’s “Sean” but I think a continent called Sean is a bit ridiculous so I’ve made it “Sienn” with a double ‘n’ to make it sound more legit lol.}

A dragon would actually pursue an elf, this kind of joke is enough for the people of Sienn to laugh for a thousand years.

Bai YueSheng naturally didn’t believe it. Rather than believing that his black dragon wanted to f** him, he would rather believe he wanted to use his head to brush his teeth!

Neil Maine didn’t give up. And against his proud appearance and his extreme wealth, Bai YueSheng really felt somewhat weak.

So finally one day Bai YueSheng asked, “What exactly do you want?” He is not the kind of person who believed in love at first sight.

Neil Maine didn’t conceal anything. His half-smile could make all living things dizzy. “The things dragons dislike are the things I like the most. You are beautiful and I want to taste the nectar of forbidden fruit.”

On a sort of unrelated note, is anyone here familiar with WordPress? I wanted to hide some of the posts from the homepage to make it neater, like just update a chapter link like I’ve seen other translation sites do, but apparently I have to use a plugin and in order to do that I have to upgrade to a business account to do that? And it costs $396 a year what the… Otherwise something like I have to host my own domain, what does that even mean….? 「(゚<゚)゙??
