Seeing Yin Xiaoxiao being crafty with his own eyes, Yin Xiaosi suddenly realized that their family’s Xiaoxiao wasn’t as foolish as he’d originally thought. It’d be worse if Xiaoxiao could sneak away. Far better to agree, then at least his mind would be at rest. Looking inside his inherited memories, it didn’t appear as though there was anything that could be found crawling along the side of the brook. So, he said, “
Okay, but we must return before dark, got it?”
As soon as he heard Yin Xiaosi agree, Yin Xiaoxiao happily responded, “Got it, got it.” Nevertheless, not wanting to wait for Yin Xiaosi to warn him again, Yin Xiaoxiao immediately ran to the bank of the brook and set off downstream.
Yin Xiaosi smiled helplessly, overwhelmed with doting affection.
Yin Xiaosi continued smiling until he heard a voice ask: “Si-ge, where are you going with Xiaoxiao?”, and he stopped smiling.
Displeased, Yin Xiaosi turned his head towards the voice “Hua Xiaowu, Xiaoxiao just told me that you bullied him.”
“Eh?” Hua Xiaowu was flabbergasted. He’d bullied Xiaoxiao? When? Could it have been
Hua Xiaowu suddenly recalled the time on the road. That time he’d seen Xiaoxiao choking and moved away, could Xiaoxiao have known what he’d been thinking? Hr must have really hurt Xiaoxiao’s feelings!
Thinking of this, Hua Xiaowu felt guilty, ashamed and uneasy.
Originally, Yin Xiaosi had merely been saying that. However, seeing the expression on Hua Xiaowu’s face
Yin Xiaosi’s eyes narrowed. Had Hua Xiaowu really bullied Xiaoxiao?
Now convinced of this, Yin Xiaosi grit his teeth in anger. Even he couldn’t bear to bully Xiaoxiao, but Hua Xiaowu actually dared do this?! Yin Xiaosi bellowed, “Hua Xiaowu!”
Hua Xiaowu trembled from head to tail 1 . Snake instincts screaming, he automatically turned tail to run. Yin Xiaosi chased after the fleeing Hua Xiaowu, bellowing.
The other young snakes froze, all of them curiously watching Hua Xiaowu and Yin Xiaosi. What were the two of them doing?
Cough cough, there’s no need to discuss what 2 kind of fate befell Hua Xiaowu. Instead, let’s check in with Yin Xiaoxiao.
Having gotten Yin Xiaosi’s approval, Yin Xiaoxiao cheerfully slithered along the brook, following it downstream. Gradually, he moved further away from where Yin Xiaosi and the others were playing. Yin Xiaosi didn’t notice. Any any case, he was slithering along the brook. If he wanted to return, he only needed to follow the brook, that was all.
But after slithering and slithering, Yin Xiaoxiao began to feel bored. Even after slithering like this for so long, the environment was still grass and more grass. Wasn’t there anything else? This was really too boring.
Just as Yin Xiaoxiao had already decided to retrace his way back, Yin Xiaoxiao suddenly heard a sound coming from the underbrush to his right.
Yin Xiaoxiao listened carefully. This sound

Was a snake!
Yin Xiaoxiao paled with fright, wanting nothing more than to run helter-skelter down the road.
‘
My bad. That’s right, I’m also a snake!’ Yin Xiaoxiao realized as he’d turned to run.
He had probably not been afraid of snakes only because he’d been constantly mentally prepared to see snakes since, the entire time after he’d been born, he had been around snakes. But this time was different. He was on his own, not with any other snakes. So after the sudden appearance of another snake, it was very normal for Yin Xiaoxiao to feel a little scared.
After reflecting on this, Yin Xiaoxiao wondered about whom he had just happened upon.
This wasn’t to say that Yin Xiaoxiao knew all the snakes in the mountain. Last time, after he’d followed Yin Dabai to get bird eggs, what was it that Yin Dabai had said during their return trip? That very few adult snakes were in this part of the mountain range, and that, although they had neighbors, the two snake nests were still very far from each other? Yin Xiaoxiao didn’t think that he’d slithered very far from his and Lan Yiyi’s home.
In fact, Yin Xiaoxiao was wrong. Yin Dabai’s family’s home, Lan Yiyi’s family’s home and the home of this other snake formed a triangle. Yin Dabai’s family’s home and Lan Yiyi’s family’s home were the furthest from each other in a straight line. But, naturally, Yin Xiaoxiao didn’t know this at the moment. Right now, Yin Xiaoxiao still believed that the snake he’d run into was someone he knew.
Young snakes were impossible. Yin Xiaoxiao was very confident in saying that, as a member of the viper clans, the type of sound he’d heard was not only like something produced by an adult snake, but was like that of two snakes!
Since Lan Yiyi’s parents were at home
then he must have accidentally run into his own parents, Hua Xiaohua and Yin Dabai!
After coming to this realization, Yin Xiaoxiao became annoyed. Hadn’t they said that they were going to look for his bird eggs? As far as the eye could see, this was a prairie! How could they find bird eggs for me here, huh?! Even if they said that they were just passing through, who would believe it?! After all, so much time had already passed, how could these two snakes “passing by” still be making so much noise in the same spot?!
Yin Xiaoxiao recalled how, early this morning, he’d realized that Yin Dabai and Hua Xiaohua had gone out to have sex outdoors. His face darkened.
Entirely angry and agitated, Yin Xiaoxiao followed the sounds. Then, he threw himself forwards onto the source.
Having broken through layer after layer of obstacles (grass obstacles
), Yin Xiaoxiao finally arrived at his destination. After craning his neck forwards, Yin Xiaoxiao indeed emerged into the shadow cast by two snakes. But, although Yin Xiaoxiao had originally been prepared to shout “Where’s my bird eggs?!” he stifled that yell.
In front of Yin Xiaoxiao was a green snake and a black snake with red and yellow stripes.
Yin Xiaoxiao came to the profound realization that he had made a mistake. Yin Xiaoxiao came to the profound realization that he had disturbed other people

***
Having been pushed down under Hei 3 Aban 4 , Lu 5 Xiaohuang was preoccupied lapping at him, consumed with lust. His entire body felt floaty 6 as he looked at Hei Aban who was about to enter him. It was at this most climatic moment that a silver head suddenly popped out above his own. Startled, Lu Xiaohuang unconsciously pulled away from Hei Aban.
Hei Aban was about to nail 7 Lu Xiaohuang with hot-blooded zeal, only to pause as a young snake appeared in his line of sight. Hei Aban understood when Lu Xiaohuang pulled away.
Lu Xiaohuang felt awkward. Hei Aban felt awkward. Yin Xiaoxiao felt awkward.
Yin Xiaoxiao had originally been red with anger. Now he was red with shame and embarrassment. It seemed as though he had disturbed some other snakes with his arrival, yes/yes 8

“You are?” Lu Xiaohuang, standing calmly and collectedly, curiously asked Yin Xiaoxiao. Hei Aban, whose field of vision include this new snake, conveniently was in Yin Xiaoxiao’s blindspot.
First, Yin Xiaoxiao took a moment to stand in awe of Lu Xiaohuang’s composure. Then he said, “I am Yin Xiaoxiao! Yin Dabai and Hua Xiaohua’s youngest 9 son!” Yin Xiaoxiao had a feeling that these two snakes knew his parents. Afterall, these two snakes appeared in a place that could be considered to be not too far from his family’s home and Lan Yiyi’s home.
Lu Xiaohuang turned his head and shot Hei Aban a look. So it seemed as though this young snake was Yin Dabai and Hua Xiaohua’s most recently born child, then.
Hei Aban’s mood fell a little. Until now, he and Lu Xiaohuang had still not had a child. Still, not having a child would be fine if only to avoid having a child who would end up a Mo snake like himself.
